Summary
I have been working in design and construction companies in which I have occupied positions from junior architect to Senior Architect or ГАП (literal translation: Chief Project Architect). My experience working immediately on a construction site is over two years of continuous work, six days a week.
I am familiar with the best practices of housing construction in the United States and Israel, and the peculiarities of architectural practice in the United States.
As an author I designed residential, assembly, mercantile, business, factory and industrial buildings of various categories, such as:
Automobile transport facilities - gas stations and multifunctional complexes based on gas stations, car washes, service stations, and public garages above-ground and underground.
Residential buildings - single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums, apartment buildings with built-in garage. Hotel of high comfort class.
Retail shops ranging from bakeries and apothecaries to Neighborhood center.
Catering businesses from cafeterias to restaurants.
Sports buildings and facilities - fitness centers, physical culture and recreation complexes, including a sports pool.
Office buildings and rooms, remodeling and new construction.
As an architect and technologist, I have worked on industrial buildings, such as a wood processing plant, a flour mill plant, and others.
I can easily navigate English language building codes and standards. I have experience in independent (without mentors) development of projects in compliance with US Building Codes and standards. For example, link 1, link 2.
I am proficient in a wide range of architectural styles from historical to contemporary - such as the Spanish Revival Style, Georgian Style, Functionalism, High Tech, Postmodernism, Neomodernism including Sculpturalism and Deconstructivism.
On behalf of my clients, I obtained written expert opinions from local government bodies and the fire department that the construction documentation complies with building codes.
I am an experienced and versatile PC user with a strong background in helping colleagues and friends configure and troubleshoot their PCs and guiding them in software use. I have been working exclusively in BIM since 2001, with extensive experience in ArchiCAD since 2000 and a primary focus on Revit since 2021. While I don’t design in 2D drafting programs like AutoCAD, I occasionally make adjustments to others’ drawings using AutoCAD.
In addition to BIM software, I utilize a range of rendering tools for 3D project visualization, including 3DS Max, Artlantis, V-Ray for Revit, Chaos Vantage, Enscape3D, Lumion, D5 Render, and Twinmotion. I am also experienced in graphic design tools such as Photoshop and CorelDRAW. As a long-time user of MS Office and other business applications, I am well-versed in productivity software. Additionally, I have familiarity with AI-based applications, both online and local, including models like Stable Diffusion, FLUX, and others.
